Who are sofabed.co.nz?

Sofabed.co.nz is an online store owned and wholly run by Creative Upholstery Limited.  The sofabed.co.nz website has been selling sofabeds for years and has a reputation for excellence and customer service.  We are a specialist sofabed manufacturer that supplies direct to the public, thus cutting out unnecessary reseller costs.

Where is my Sofabed Manufactured?

We manufacture all our sofabeds in our New Zealand based factory in Auckland.

What Guarantee comes with my sofabed?

All our sofabeds are supplied fully assembled and come with a 1 year manufacturing guarantee.  This guarantee is subject to normal usage.

Can I have a sofabed manufactured in my own fabric?

It is possible to use you own fabric in the manufacture of one of our sofabeds.  If you wish to do this please contact our office on (09) 425 7543 and we will discuss this with you and let you know how much fabric we would need.  .  We would not be able to accept the return of any sofabed that we manufactured in a customers own fabric as this is a bespoke product.

What cushion fillings do you use?

Our seat cushions are made from foam and our back cushions are made from virgin polyester fibre.

What mattress comes with your sofa beds?

Our sofabeds are supplied with a foam mattress designed to work with the trampoline base beneath.

What mechanism do your sofa beds use?

Our sofabeds have a 3-fold mechanism with a trampoline base.  The bed is composed of a foam mattress which sits upon a trampoline base, thus mimicking the feeling and comfort of a fully sprung mattress.

Do you have a catalogue?

We do not have a printed catalogue.  We believe that the majority of the information you will need to buy a sofabed is on this website.  However should you have any further questions please feel free to contact us on (09) 425 7543.

Can I get free fabric samples?

You can order up to three fabric samples free of charge. Just go to our Free Fabric Swatches page choose your three choices and we will send them out straight away.

How can I order?

You can order online or by phone on (09) 425 7543.  Please note our office is open between the hours of 9am and 5pm per day.

How can I pay?

Payment on sofabed.co.nz can be made with any major credit or debit card through our payment partner.  As an alternative you can also pay at checkout through Paypal.  Should you wish to order over the telephone we can take orders with all major credit or debit cards with the exception of American Express.
